Once you earn over $15,000.00 you will need to obtain an A.B.N with the A.T.O and you will need to declare your earnings.
Once you meet the thresh hold and obtain an A.B.N number - you become a sole trader and can therefore claim a S.O.H.O (Small office/Home office) arrangement with the A.T.O and can claim business operating costs, so keep all of your receipts for a minimum of 5 years minimum.
These details are as correct as I understand them to be and any new information will be added as it arrives. Information that is false or misleading will be removed immediately.
